With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words. When I call you back you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. Concerning Phone Callsįor those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. You may also send an email to and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. You can reach Harry or Marcia by phone at 92 or by fax at 92. This Colt would make a stunning addition to any Colt collection! The pistol is mirror bright showing little use.
#COLT 1911 A1 70 SERIES#
This is a very difficult finish to find in the pre Series "70" Colts. The magazine is the correct original magazine for this pistol. The box is a high quality reproduction box with the correct end label and added correct style Nickel Finish tag. The satin finish on the top of the slide and bottom of the frame would have the same rating if not slightly higher. This high polish finish would rate a 98% overall condition.
The high polished sides of the frame and slide is vivid and mirror bright. There is some light wear to the barrel finish where the slide moves back and forth. This pistol shows some handling and being fired. This Colt is fitted with rarely seen bone grips.
#COLT 1911 A1 70 SERIAL#
This Colt is one of the last of the "C" marked serial numbered pistols before the Series "70" pistols started. Only 2% of Pre Series "70's" were ever nickel finished. This Colt also has a factory letter stating that it was shipped to Thomas Hereford Company, Prestonsburg Kentucky, July 1 1970. This is a standard government model with the exception of having the rare factory nickel finish.
